AESCHYNANTHUS RADICANS - LIPSTICK PLANT

At first glance this dense, unassuming vining plant is often mistaken for a Hoya. It's the flowers that give it away! The lipstick plant produces flaming red, velvety blooms that pop out of perfect purple tubes that look a lot like, you guessed it, lipstick. These low-maintenance plants are perfect for hanging or placed on a high shelf, where they'll cascade down in luxurious vine.

While lipstick plants do just fine in lower light spaces, they require plenty of bright, indirect light in order to bloom. Let them dry out about halfway between waterings, and give them a good misting every now and then.
